*Flights are not included in the price. Please reach out if you need assistance booking flights, otherwise you are welcome to book flights on your own. You will be flying into Cancun International Airport (CUN)

Travel Requirements:

A valid passport will be required to visit Mexico. If your passport is expiring prior to the travel dates, or within 6 months after the travel date, please renew your passport immediately.

Neither Mexico nor the USA require proof of a negative Covid test in order to enter the country

Transportation Details:
Roundtrip shared transfers to and from the airport are included with your stay between Cancun airport and Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres only.

If you are interested in private transfers, please let us know in the RSVP form and we will get you a quote.

*We will reach out 6-8 weeks prior to the trip date to obtain your flight information and quote pricing. That will be passed along to the transfer company and we will then provide all your transfer details a few days prior to departure.

Insurance:

Although the resort’s cancellation policy is flexible, travel insurance can protect you from any unexpected occurrences prior to or during travel.

Having travel protection will also help you avoid any penalties that may kick in after May 10th, 2025, as mentioned in the cancellation schedule.

GPP+ Insurance = Cancel for any reason and get a full refund (minus the cost of the insurance)

GPP+ Travel Insurance - 4nts or less = $149/adult

GPP+ Travel Insurance - 5nts or more = $179/adult

GPP Insurance = Cancel for any reason and receive a future travel voucher through Vacation Express to be used on a future trip (minus the cost of the insurance)

GPP Travel Insurance - 4nts or less = $99/adult

GPP Travel Insurance - 5nts or more = $119/adult

Please indicate in your RSVP form if you would like to add travel insurance. Travel insurance must be added and paid for by April 20th, 2025. After this date it can no longer be added.

Payment Schedule:

$200 per person — due on or before December 1st, 2024

(you are not booked until the above deposit is made)

Additional $400 per person — due February 1st, 2025

Final Payment -- May 2nd, 2025

*You are welcome to make payments at any time between the deposit date and the final payment date.

Cancellation Schedule:

Until May 10th, 2025 - No cancellation penalty.

Your deposit payments are fully refundable

May 11th - July 23rd, 2025 - Full Penalty

You are responsible for your full reservation amount, unless you’ve purchased travel insurance.

The best way to avoid penalties and protect your vacation investment would be to purchase travel insurance. With insurance you can cancel at anytime and will receive a refund. We highly recommend purchasing insurance.

*Vacay Vibes charges a separate $25 per person cancellation fee if cancelling at any time after your reservation been booked. This is separate from the above cancellation schedule and is still charged even if insurance has been purchased.

*Changes to your reservation that result in the reduction of the amount of room nights will also result in the above penalties after May 10th, 2025. Those are considered to be a cancellation of room nights.

*Changes to your reservation that result in the reduction of room occupancy after May 10th, 2025 will also result incur a $25 per person penalty.

*If making changes between 15-30 days prior to departure, the penalty will be $75 per person.
*No changes can be made to date or duration within 15 days of departure.
